New Coach Will Be Announced Via Social Media

With the regular season coming to a close, the University of Minnesota is nearing the final stages of its search for a new head football coach. Gopher fans who want to be the first to get the word on who the new mentor of the Golden Gopher program will want to follow Minnesota athletics and football via social media.

The initial announcement from the athletics department will come via Facebook and Twitter. Become a fan of Minnesota Gophers and Golden Gopher Football on Facebook and/or follow @GopherAthletics and @GoldenGopherFB on Twitter.

Gopher Facebook fans or Twitter followers will be the first to see the official announcement.
