Volunteers Needed for Big Ten Championships

Dear Gopher Golf Supporter,
The University of Minnesota will be partnering with Windsong Farm Golf Club to host the 2010 Big Ten Men's Golf Championships. This will be a first-class experience for the student-athletes.
This event serves as an opportunity for golf fans to volunteer and be part of the action. The efforts of our volunteers truly make the experience for the athletes and fans. We have several volunteer opportunities available. The various positions are as follows:
Friday - April 30
12 - Live Scoring (every 3 holes) (6 morning shift; 6 afternoon shift)
12 - On course scoreboards (6 morning shift; 6 afternoon shift)
4 - Scorecard runners (2 morning shift; 2 afternoon shift)
2 - Parking attendants
2 - Fan Relations (directions/welcome/etc)
Saturday - May 1
20 - Live Scoring (1 person w/ each group)
6 - On course scoreboards
2 - Scorecard runners
2 - Parking attendants
2 - Fan Relations
Sunday - May 2
20 - Live Scoring (1 person w/ each group)
6 - On course scoreboards
2 - Scorecard runners
2 - Parking attendants
2 - Fan Relations
All volunteers will receive an official tournament pullover and lunch on the day(s) they volunteer. Details of the event are as follows:

Tournament Schedule:
Rounds 1 & 2: Friday, April 30
Round 3: Saturday, May 1
Round 4: Sunday, May 2
*Shift starting times will vary based on area of interest. Please see the attached volunteer matrices.
