Aaron Studt Takes Silver in Shot Put

Minnesota’s Aaron Studt was the second Golden Gopher to capture a silver medal at the NACAC U23 Championships in Miramar, Fla., on Sunday. Studt placed second in the shot put with a throw of 59 feet, 9 inches. The Gopher All-American has one more season of outdoor track eligibility remaining.
The NACAC Athletic Association's U23 Championships are held every two years in one of the 32 member nations of the North America, Central America and Caribbean Athletic Association, one of six regional athletics associations affiliated with the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF).
