In addition to gymnastics, Cherwink competed in soccer at Aledo High School. She was a soccer letterwinner and helped her team to a District Championship. She has also competed in hockey, football, and ultimate Frisbee.
Cherwink is a high achiever academically, earning a spot on the TWU Dean’s List for both fall semester of 2009 and spring 2010.
