Stephanie Price Earns Big Ten Weekly Honor

Minnesota junior Stephanie Price was named the Big Ten Cross Country Runner of the Week, the Big Ten office announced today. Price captured the first medalist honor of her collegiate career last weekend winning the Oz Memorial Run with a career-best 6-kilometer time of 21 minutes, 16.15 seconds. Price’s individual winning effort helped the Golden Gophers easily claim the team crown with 19 points.
This is the first career Big Ten weekly honor for the Mankato, Minn. native.
The Gophers are idle this weekend as they prepare for the 25th Annual Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 25.
