Gophers in Seventh With One Round to Play

The Gophers posted a 293 in the second round of the FAU Spring Break Championship on Saturday and currently sit in seventh place heading into Sunday's final round. Minnesota is just 10 shots back of second place DePaul in the team's third tournament of the season.

Donald Constable followed up a three-under 69 on Fri. with a one-over 73 on Sat. and is in eighth place with 18 holes remaining. Jon Trasamar followed up an opening round 70 with a 74and is in 14th, while Erik Van Rooyen got back on track after his 76 in round one with a 69 on Sat.

David Haley Jr. posted another 77 for 64th, and Alex Gaugert shot a 79 in the second round and is in tied for 83rd.
