Big Ten Network to Air Michigan Opener Live

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Big Ten Network has announced that the Minnesota softball program's series opener against Michigan on May 7 will be broadcast live by the network. Game time for the contest against the Wolverines is scheduled for 5 p.m. CST.

The Wolverines game, originally scheduled to be streamed on BigTenNetwork.com, marks the final road series of the season for Minnesota. Gopher softball fans will now have three more chances to watch the program on national television as next Sunday's (05/01) series finale with Michigan State and Minnesota's contest against Illinois (5/13) will also be broadcast live by the Big Ten Network.

Additionally, the midweek doubleheader against Northwestern (5/4) will be streamed on BigTenNetwork.com while the Michigan State series opener (4/30) will be streamed in the Goldzone at Gophersports.com.
