Gophers Finish Weekend at Drake and Penn Relays

Minnesota completed its weekend of competing at the two most historic relays, the Drake Relays and the Penn Relays. At the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, redshirt freshman Katie Moraczewski finished fifth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a career-best time of 10 minutes, 38.33 seconds. The time ranks fifth in Gopher history.

At the Penn Relays in Philadelphia, the Gophers’ 4x400-meter relay of Kelly Stalpes, Alena Brooks, Nyoka Giles and Sharyn Dahl placed sixth in the College Race with a time of 3:40.86.
