The University of Minnesota women's hockey team will have five individuals with Golden Gopher ties at the Women's Summer Development Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Representing Minnesota will be current Gophers Megan Bozek and Anne Schleper on defense, forwards Amanda Kessel and Jen Schoullis and Gopher alum, Gigi Marvin. The Gopher ties are five of 26 invited to the camp.

Running from June 11 to June 17, the camp features strength and conditioning, on-ice skill development, nutrition training and team building. All 21 members of the U.S. Women's National Team that captured the gold medal at the 2011 International Ice Hockey Federation World Women's Championship will be on hand in Colorado Springs, as well as five additional players who were on the preliminary roster for the world championship. The purpose of the camp will help determine future USA Hockey camps and national team rosters.
