Practice at Peik: Weekly Highlights, Nov. 19

Head coach Meg Stephenson's University of Minnesota women's gymnastics team continues to work hard in its preparation for the start of the season a little more than six weeks from now.

The Golden Gophers practiced at Peik Gymnasium on Monday afternoon, and the team has been starting to work on its full routines and doing mock meets. Stephenson has been very pleased with the effort and talent the Gophers have displayed during preseason workouts.

Minnesota unofficially opens its schedule with its Intrasquad Meet on Saturday, Jan. 5 at the Sports Pavilion. The Gophers then open their 2013 regular season with a home meet against the University of Washington on Jan. 12.
