Aztec Invite Cut Short Due to Weather

The Minnesota women's track and field team concluded their weekend performance at the Aztec Invitational. Saturday's events were called off early to do to weather, with the Gophers only finishing a pair of events.
Minnesota's 4x100 relay captured a title before the rain shorten the day. Todea-Kay Willis, Nyoka Giles, Chimerem Okoroji and Kylie Peterson clocked in at 46.19 for the Maroon and Gold.
Finishing up for the Gophers were Laura Docherty, who placed fourth in the 1,500 meters after she clocked in at 4:30.38. Molly Kayfes finished ninth for Minnesota with a time of 4:35.00.
The Gophers will next compete at the Arkansas Invitational, March 30-31.
