Trey Davis closed out the weekend for the Minnesota men's throwers at the 85th annual Texas Relays. Davis finished 10thoverall in the shot put with a toss of 56-8 (17.27m) in a very talented field of competitors, to close out the weekend for the Maroon and Gold. Six of the 13 competitors were in the finals of last year's NCAA finals.

Minnesota will next send a pack of competitors to out west next weekend to the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto, CA. Another portion of the team will be at the Hamline Invite, in St. Paul.
