NBC Sports Adds Coverage

2013-14 Gopher Hockey Schedule

MINNEAPOLIS - The NBC Sports Network has added three Gopher men's hockey games to its 2013-14 college hockey broadcast schedule including both road contests at Notre Dame next month.

On Friday, NBC Sports announced that Minnesota's nonconference game against the Fighting Irish on Nov. 8 will be broadcast on NBC Sports with a start time of 7 p.m. CT. The following night, the two teams will meet at 6 p.m. with the game being streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra (NBCSports.com).

Friday's announcement comes one day after NBC Sports announced that Minnesota's home Big Ten game against Penn State on March 1 will be broadcast on NBC Sports. That contest is scheduled for a 6 p.m. puck drop.

With the addition of NBC Sports' three games this week, 34 of Minnesota's 36 regular-season games will now be broadcast live.
