The University of Minnesota rowing team will participate in its only home event of the fall 2013 season this Sunday.

Where: Mississippi River, East River Flats Park (550 E River Pkwy, Minneapolis, MN)
Parking: East River Flats parking meters or East River Road Parking Garage (391 East River Parkway, Minneapolis, MN 55455)
Driving: Due to the Twin Cities Marathon, there will be road closures near the racecourse. Road closures are listed on their website:www.tcmevents.org.

Food: Minnesota Men's Club Crew $10 BBQ Lunch at 11:30am on the north side of the boathouse. University of Minnesota women rowers will receive a meal ticket.
Spectators: Binoculars and camp chairs are standard equipment for regattas. The women's rowing parent tent will be set up on the north side of the boathouse, which is about 1,000m from the finish line. The 5k race starts at Lake Street Bridge and finishes just past the Washington Avenue Bridge. Races are "time-trial" style. There are walking paths on either side of the river that offer great views. Franklin Bridge will be closed to traffic for the TC marathon and offers a unique bird's eye view of the regatta. It is accessible via the walking path from the boathouse.
