The University of Minnesota men's golf team is in 15th place through 18 holes at the Wendy's Kiawah Classic at Turtle Point Golf Course in Kiawah, S.C. Minnesota shot a 21-over-par team score of 309, while South Carolina (-6) leads the tournament.
Senior Jon Trasamar carded the Gophers' best score of 75 (+3) on Sunday, assisted by an eagle on the par-4 17th hole. Trasamar is tied for 34th, while junior Tyler Lowenstein is one stroke behind in a tie for 44th.
Radford's Nick Brediger and South Carolina's Will Starke are tied for first individually. The pair posted 3-under rounds of 69 to open the tournament.
