Leading up to the Unlimited Dance Marathon, Feb. 22-23, Gophersports.com features the reason why Gopher Athletics, the University of Minnesota community and Amplatz Children's Hospital have joined forces: To help those in need.
ABOUT THE UNLIMITED DANCE MARATHON
Unlimited Dance Marathon is a year-long fundraising and awareness campaign for the fight against pediatric health issues and will be held at Mariucci Arena on February 22-23. The event is designed to raise funds and awareness for Amplatz Children's Hospital. In addition to the no-sitting, no-sleeping dance marathon, the event will feature personal stories from children and families served through the resources Amplatz provides. Participants dancing in the mara-thon will earn pledges for their dance time.
