The University of Minnesota men's golf team concluded its fall season at the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate on Tuesday. Jose Mendez tied for fourth, his best fall finish, as the team finished 11th.
Mendez carded a 1-under 70 in the third round to finish with a score of 211 (-2) for the tournament. He finished four strokes behind Baylor medalist Mikkel Bjerch-Andresen, tying Oklahoma's Max McGreevy for fourth.
Mendez tallied three top-10 finishes in five fall events this year, and finished in the top 20 of the other two. He notched six rounds under par during the fall.
