After the first round of the Puerto Rico Classic, Minnesota is tied for seventh place. Two freshmen, Charlie Duensing and Riley Johnson, led the Golden Gophers with scores of 73 (+1). They are tied for 22nd entering the second round. Minnesota shares seventh with Nebraska and Michigan, all at 8-over.
