Pollard Named B1G Diver of the Week

The Big Ten Conference weekly awards were announced today with Manny Pollard being selected as B1G Diver of the Week. This accolade was awarded after Pollard's performance against Arizona State on October 4.

Junior Pollard placed first on both the one-meter and three-meter boards. He earned a score of 327.08 points on the one-meter and 356.55 points on the three-meter. Both scores recorded NCAA Zone Diving qualifying scores.

This award marks the third of Pollard's career at Minnesota. He was last selected as B1G Diver of the Week on Jan. 28, 2014.

Minnesota's Kierra Smith was also named B1G Swimmer of the Week for the women's team. Read more here.
