In this week's Coach's Corner, Gopher Wrestling Head Assistant Coach Brandon Eggum looks back at results from last week's home opener against Grand Canyon and Big Ten opener against Michigan State. Minnesota defeated Grand Canyon 36-8 on Thursday night, taking eight of ten matches from the Antelopes. The Gophers returned to the mat on Friday night to open conference competition against the Spartans, winning nine matches and taking the dual 36-3.
Coach Eggum provides a full rundown of the performances of every Gopher wrestler who competed in the two duals, and also provides a brief look ahead to this Saturday's dual against No. 8 Oklahoma State.
