The Golden Gophers once again opened practice to the public as they scrimmaged at TCF Bank Stadium Saturday night. It was Minnesota's first time practicing on its home field during fall camp.

The Mitch Leidner-led first-team offense scored on field goals from both Andrew Harte and Ryan Santoso. Jeff Borchardt scored the only touchdown of the scrimmage on a pass from freshman Jacques Perra late in the action.

The Gopher defense impressed, especially Derrick Wells, who intercepted a Leidner pass intended for Isaac Fruechte. Alex Keith also recorded an interception, off of a short pass by Chris Streveler.

Minnesota will take Sunday off of practice before returning to the field for two sessions on Monday.
