Gophers' "20 for 20" Thanks Facebook Fans

One of the things that student-athletes and coaches repeatedly mention when discussing what makes Gopher Wrestling great is the fan support. The Gopher Wrestling fan base has developed a well-earned reputation as of one of the largest and most passionate in the entire country.
As a small token of gratitude for all that support, Gopher Wrestling launched "20 for 20," an online giveaway trigged two weeks ago when fans met the program's challenge to push its Facebook page past 20,000 "likes."
After the page reached 20,000 likes, everyone from that group of 20,000 was automatically entered into a drawing for one of 20 Gopher Wrestling prizes. Those 20 names have been drawn and winners are now being contacted.
Among those 20 lucky fans, 15 will receive Gopher Wrestling apparel. Four additional winners will receive four free tickets per winner to a home dual against Michigan (8 p.m. CT on Friday, Jan. 9) or Illinois (1 p.m. CT on Sunday, Jan. 18). Each recipient will be allowed to choose the dual they prefer to attend.
Finally, one lucky grand prize winner will receive a complementary suite to attend the Minnesota/Iowa dual (6 p.m. CT on Friday, Jan. 30). That fan will have an opportunity to invite friends along to see one of the premier matchups in college wrestling this season and one of the sport's great rivalries in style.
Gopher Wrestling is incredibly thankful for all of the support its fans have shown over the years, whether that's by attending duals, following the team closely, liking us on Facebook or watching our videos on YouTube. However you choose to support Gopher Wrestling, it is greatly appreciated.
