MINNEAPOLIS - All-tournament ticket packages for the 2016 WCHA Final Face-Off, to be held March 5-6 at Ridder Arena, are now on sale, the women's Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) and the University of Minnesota announced today.

With the premier conference tournament in women's college hockey returning to the sport's most iconic venue, WCHA Final Face-Off all-tournament packages are priced at $20 (general admission bench for seniors/students and youth), $25 (general admission bench for adults) and $35 (reserved chairback). Packages include two tickets - one ticket for Saturday, March 5 which includes access to both semifinal games (at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. CT, respectively) and one ticket for the WCHA championship game Sunday, March 6 (2 p.m. CT).

"The WCHA is excited to bring our jewel event - the Final Face-Off - back to Minneapolis and Ridder Arena," said WCHA Commissioner Aaron Kemp. "We are thrilled to showcase our league's tremendous student-athletes, programs and institutions in a region so steeped in hockey tradition and passion. We look forward to partnering with the University of Minnesota and greater Twin Cities community to deliver an outstanding fan experience throughout our championship week."

The WCHA Final Faceoff annually pits the four winning teams from the WCHA's best-of-three, quarterfinal round playoff series against one another to compete for the league's playoff championship and an automatic berth to the NCAA tournament.

Two semifinal games are scheduled for 2 p.m. CT and 5 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 5 with teams looking to earn a place in the championship game at 2 p.m. CT Sunday, March 6. Game times are subject to change.

Ticket packages for the 2016 WCHA Final Face-Off are available for purchase directly through the Gopher Sales & Service Department; in-person at Mariucci Arena (during regular office hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT, Monday-Friday) or during all Gopher women's hockey games, via phone at 612-624-8080 (Option 2) or online at MyGopherSports.com. Certain fees may apply.

In conjunction with the Final Face-Off, the WCHA will also host its second annual alumni game and youth clinic. More details on those events will be available in the coming months.

The first-ever facility built specifically for women's hockey in the country, Ridder Arena is home to the six-time national champion University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Women's Hockey Program.
