Gophers Finish 20th at Head of the Charles

Oct. 18, 2015 CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Competing in the world's largest two-day regatta, the Minnesota rowing team earned a top-20 finish at the 51st Head of the Charles.
The Gophers sent their top Varsity 8+ boat to compete in the Women's Championship Eights. They finished with a time of 17:11.095, finishing 20th out of 33 competitors in the race. Taylor Gainey, Joyce Jollands, Anna Greene, Lauren Miller, Kortney Luedloff, Haley Bagley, Sara Scarbro, Lisa Weeks and Jessica Flakne made the trip to Massachusetts.
Minnesota concludes their fall season October 31st as they travel to Wisconsin to compete in the Devil's Head Scrimmage.
