Royal Oaks Qualifying

Minnesota held a team qualifier for the Royal Oaks Intercollegiate (Oct. 26-27). The Golden Gophers competed for two automatic spots on the travel squad, and one coaches' pick. Justin Doeden and Jon DuToit were exempt from qualifying. Tom Vining, Matt Rachey and Rúnar Arnorsson will join them in Dallas.
The Gophers began the qualifying tournament Sunday at Hazeltine, the future site of the 2016 Ryder Cup. Round 2 was at Interlachen on Tuesday, and the final round was at Wayzata CC on Thursday.

Round 2: Interlachen CC - Par 71 - 6,975 Yards
