Gophers in the Polls: November 10

Plenty of upward movement in the polls for a number of Gopher teams and some high-profile Top-25 showdowns await the ranked Minnesota programs this week.

Women's Hockey - #3 (USCHO.com), #3 (USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine)

Last Week: The Gophers were off this past weekend.

Coming Up: Minnesota faces Bemidji State this weekend at home, beginning Friday night at 7:07 p.m. and concluding Saturday afternoon at 4:07 p.m.

Volleyball - #4 (AVCA), #1 (NCAA RPI)

Last Week: Minnesota set a new school record, running its winning streak to 12 straight in Big Ten Conference action. The Gophers swept Michigan State on Friday night at the Pav before defending their home court the next night in a 3-1 win over then-No. 25 Michigan.

Coming Up: The Gophers hit the road traveling to Northwestern on Wednesday before a showdown with top-ranked Penn State on Saturday night at the Sports Pavilion.

Men's Swimming & Diving - #20

Last Week: The Gopher men also topped North Dakota, 193-103, winning 13 events including a pair of victories for Nick Orf and Dylan Zoe.

Coming Up: The Gophers return to the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center for the Arena Pro Swim Series Nov. 12-14. The USA Swimming event will feature Olympians and Olympic hopefuls.

Wrestling - #21 (Intermat)

Last Week: For the fourth consecutive year, Minnesota began its regular season 3-0 as the 24th-ranked Gophers knocked off Grand Canyon, Virginia and South Dakota State, respectively, at Saturday's Gopher Duals.

Coming Up: The team travels to Troy, N.Y. next weekend for the Northeast Duals. The Gophers will wrestle No. 5 Lehigh, No. 12 N.C. State and No. 14 North Carolina on Sunday.

Women's Cross Country - #21

Last Week: Taylor Mikkalson, Molly Eastman, and Emily Castanias led the Gophers as they hosted their final home meet of the season Sunday morning at Rocky's Run.

Coming Up: Minnesota heads to the Midwest Regional in Lawrence, Kan., next Friday, Nov. 13, looking to secure its 11th-straight NCAA Championship bid.

Women's Swimming & Diving - #22

Last Week: Minnesota defeated North Dakota in a dual in Grand Forks, outscoring UND by a 195-103 margin. Katelyn Holmquist won three individual events, while Mariam Khamis, Kaia Grobe and Abigail Raatz each picked up two individual wins.

Men's Cross Country - #26 (tied)

Last Week: Connor Olson won his first collegiate competition to give the No. 26 University of Minnesota men's cross country program its fourth-straight individual medalist at St. John's Fall Finale on Friday evening.

Coming Up: Minnesota returns to action next Friday, Nov. 13 with the NCAA Midwest Regional in Lawrence, Kan.
