In front of a sell-out crowd, night two of the Arena Pro Swim Series boasted 21 current Golden Gopher races and five from program alumni.

Kierra Smith had a golden finish in the women's 200-meter breaststroke, breaking the pool record with a time of 2:24. Smith was followed by Minnesota alum Haley Spencer, who powered a 2:26.92. Both Smith and Spencer are NCAA Champions in the 200-yard breaststroke, with Smith winning the crown in 2015 and Spencer taking home the title in 2011.

Alum David Plummer (2008) also finished first Friday night. Plummer won the 100 backstroke with a time of 52.85. Just before the race, Plummer's cap split which led to borrowing a Minnesota cap from Noah Busch. During prelims, Plummer's 52.83 broke the pool record.

In the women's 400 freestyle final, Samantha Harding (4:13.78) was followed by teammate Brooke Zeiger (4:14.70). The duo finished 11th and 12th, respectively.
