2016-17 Senior Season: Academic All-Big Ten • Outstanding Student-Athlete award • named Hardest Worker by teammates • improved to 1:55.51 in the 200-yard breast at the 2017 Big Ten Championships • finished with a time of 3:46.09 in the 400-yard IM at the 2017 Big Ten Championships • earned first place in the 100-yard breast against North Dakota with a 55.35 • earned three, top-three finishes at the Minnesota Invitational: 200-yard breast (1:58.97), 200-yard IM (1:50.39), and 400-yard IM (3:54.11) • earned fourth place in the 200-yard IM with a 3:48.87 at the AT&T Winter Championships.

2015-16 Junior Season: Named Academic All-Big Ten • Tallied 20 top-five finishes during the regular season • Placed sixth in the 400 IM, 13th in the 200 breast and 31st in the 200 IM at the 2016 Big Ten Championships • Advanced to finals in the 100-meter breast, 200 breast and 400 IM at the 2015 Arena Pro Swim Series at Minneapolis • Made his Maroon and Gold debut at Florida State with a win in the 200 breast.
