Play at B1G Championship Suspended

After a frost-delayed start to the first round, play at the Big Ten Men's Golf Championship was suspended due to darkness during the second round. Minnesota's five players will all resume play on the back at 8 a.m. CT Saturday before beginning the third round with the same pairings.
The Golden Gophers were in fifth after the first round with a team score of 293 (+5). They are eighth on the leaderboard with incomplete second-round results at Victoria National in Newburgh, Ind.
2014 co-medalist Jose Mendez led Minnesota with an even-par first round of 72. He was 2-over at the turn before making two birdies on the back nine. He was still at even and tied for 13th through 12 holes before play stopped.
Also in the top 20 with an incomplete second round is Riley Johnson. He made an eagle on the par-4 second during his morning round and carded a 73. He was even in the second round through 15 holes.
In the first round, Jon DuToit birdied five of his first eight holes to take sole possession of the lead, then bogeyed six holes to finish with a 73. In the afternoon round, he was 5-over through 12.
Rúnar Arnórsson rounded out the Gophers' counted rounds in the morning with a 75, while Charlie Duensing shot a 79. Arnórsson was 5-over after 15 and Duensing 4-over after 16 in the suspended round.
Iowa posted a score of 280 in the first round to lead the field, with Illinois in second at 284. The Illini are now four strokes ahead of the Hawkeyes, but each team still has a handful of holes to complete.
Maryland's David Kocher is the leader in the clubhouse at 6 under. Carson Schaake of Iowa was 9 under overall with three holes left to play.
