Lohman Joins USA Volleyball's China Tour

Middle blocker Molly Lohman's summer just got a little more adventurous with a trip to China, representing the United States Collegiate National Team. Lohman, who was scheduled to go to New Orleans later this month with Team USA, was a last minute addition to the China roster. She joins Hannah Tapp and Sarah Wilhite on the trek, marking three Golden Gophers on the 12-person roster.Â
Lohman played in 51 sets as a freshman, played in 20 matches and started in nine. Coming on strong at the end of the season, Lohman finished her first collegiate season with 37 kills, hit .318 and averaged 0.80 blocks per set.Â
