Softball Top Ten Moments of 2015: #9 and #10

We will be counting down the top ten moments from another great season for the Gopher softball team. The team went 49-11 and broke many records along the way.

 No. 10 in the countdown is a special off the field moment as the Gophers teamed up with Team IMPACT to sign six-year-old Maisy Martindale.

 No. 9 in our countdown goes back to the first game of the 2015 season when the Gophers topped No. 11/13 Washington, at the time, 8-0 in five innings. Sara Groenewegen pitched a shutout in the game and Danielle Parlich had a strong debut going 3-3 with five RBI. The win sparked a strong start to the season for the team as they went on to win their first eight games of the season.
