- Alec Crawford (Grand Junction Rockies) has made four straight relief appearances surrendering only one hit or fewer.
- Seth Rosin (Lehigh Valley IronPigs) has been shutting down opposing hitters during the day as the opposition is hitting just .266 against the right-hander.
- Tom Windle (Reading Fightin Phils) made his sixth straight appearance without surrendering an earned run.
- DJ Snelten (Augusta GreenJackets) has struck out at least six batters in his last 10 starts, including nine games of seven or more.
- Lance Thonvold (Everett AquaSox) tallied five strikeouts in two innings of relief in his last appearance (Aug. 15).
