Gophers Celebrate Champions Day

On Saturday afternoon in front of a capacity crowd at TCF Bank Stadium, a number of Golden Gophers teams and student-athletes were honored for their achievements as part of Champions Day.
Individuals and groups from seven different Minnesota programs were recognized at halftime of the Kent State football game, proceeding through a tunnel formed by fellow student-athletes and carrying banners signifying their accomplishments, which were punctuated by either conference or national championships during the 2014-15 season.
