COLUMBUS, Ohio - The No. 18 University of Minnesota women's gymnastics team earned their fourth straight victory with a score of 196.075-194.900 at the St. John Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Junior Bailie Holst claimed the Uneven Bars title, sophomore Abby DeMuse claimed the Floor title and senior Lindsay Mable earned top honors on Beam and in the All-Around.

Holst's Bar score (9.975) is a new career high mark and with it, she tied the school record.

On the day, Minnesota collected team scores of 48.775 on Vault, 49.350 on Bars, 49.150 on Beam and Floor, the team earned a 48.800.

The Gophers began the day on the Uneven Bars. Holst earned the highest score in the lineup and tallied an incredible mark of 9.975 (first place overall). Senior Madeline Hanley earned a 9.875 (second place overall). Sophomore Abby DeMuse tallied a 9.850 (third place overall). Sophomore Ciara Gardner and senior Lindsay Mable earned identical marks of 9.825 while sophomore Hannah Hitchcock earned a 9.750.

On Vault, DeMuse earned a 9.850 followed by Mable, who notched a 9.825. To round out the lineup, Abernathy, Haines and Gardner contributed scores of 9.725, 9.700 and 9.675, respectively.

Through two rotations, Minnesota led Ohio State, 98.125-97.675.

For the third rotation, Minnesota moved to the Floor. DeMuse earned the highest mark for the Maroon and Gold with a 9.875 (first place overall). Abernathy tallied a 9.775 (tied for third overall) followed by Holst and Gardner who earned identical marks of 9.750. Rahon and Mable rounded out the Gophers lineup with a 9.650 and 9.600, respectively.

In the final rotation of the night, Beam, Mable earned the highest mark for Minnesota with a 9.900 (tied for first place overall). Hanely and Haines earned a 9.875 (tied for third place overall) and 9.850, respectively. Gardner earned a 9.775 followed by Nordquist, who notched a 9.750 and Rahon with a 9.700.

Mable earned the All-Around crown with a total of 39.150 and Gardner finished second with a 39.025.

LOOKING AHEAD
Next Saturday, February 6, the Gophers return to the Sports Pavilion to host the Fighting Illini of Illinois at the Sports Pavilion. Action is set to begin at 3:00 p.m.
