Recap the Gophers incredible 2016 season through the team's perspective.

This season was truly unforgettable.
Winning the Big Ten Regular-Season Championship was such an amazing experience for the team and I. It was definitely an extraordinary meet! Holding onto our undefeated streak in the Big Ten and having it cumulate to that moment meant we did our job every time we got onto the floor. This season, we always tried to remember to have fun, stay calm and show off what we worked so hard in the gym for.
Having the NCAA Regionals at home in Minnesota meant a lot to us. We felt as if we had an advantage because it was in our arena, we got to compete on our equipment and we had our home crowd to back us up. We knew we just had to go in, do our job and treat it like every other meet we had in the Pav...even though there was a lot more pressure! To make it to nationals from our home was an indescribable experience! I can't even put into words how amazing it was. That was one of our main goals the whole season and we weren't going to let anything or anyone stop us from achieving it.
NCAA's was such a great experience for me personally, because it was in my home state of Texas. It made it really special to show the team where I come from. Being there as a team was so much fun! Knowing that all of our hard work paid off doing the sport we love really brought everything into perspective. We all made so many memories there that will last a lifetime. We're also that much more fueled to carry our success into next season!
