MINNEAPOLIS (GopherSports.com) - Don't miss your chance to secure a seat for next season's Gopher Hockey action at Mariucci Arena as season tickets for the 2017-18 season are now available.
The Maroon & Gold capped off the first 500 games at Mariucci Arena by winning the program's sixth-straight regular-season conference championship this season - setting a new NCAA record in the process. Considered one of the top atmospheres in hockey since opening in 1993, Mariucci Arena was ranked as the top college hockey experience this season by Stadium Journey.
"Mariucci Arena is a special place for a lot of people, and it makes you realize how lucky you are to call this place home," Minnesota head coach Don Lucia said. "Our fans are what make Mariucci Arena so great. They provide the best atmosphere in college hockey and that certainly gives us a big home-ice advantage."
Benefits available to season ticket holders include membership in the new Gopher Loyalty Program, discounted pricing compared to single-game prices, guaranteed seat location for all home games and more.
Current season ticket holders will participate in the season ticket renewal process in May. Student season tickets will go on-sale April 1, with information available at MyGopherSports.com.
The 2017-18 Gopher squad will blend an experienced group of Maroon & Gold veterans including Big Ten Player of the Year and Hobey Baker Award finalist Tyler Sheehy with a stellar group of young, talented prospects including Eden Prairie native Casey Mittelstadt - the 2017 Mr. Hockey Award recipient and a first team all-state selection.
