Minnesota senior Yu Zhou won her second NCAA title in 3-meter diving Friday. A runner-up 100-yard breaststroke finish for Lindsey Horejsi highlighted five additional All-America performances on the Golden Gophers' third day of NCAA Championships competition in Indianapolis. The Gophers are in seventh place with 134 points with one day remaining.

Zhou scored 392.75 points on the 3-meter board to wrap up her collegiate career with a second national championship, and the ninth individual title in program history. She won her first in 2015, and tallied a total of seven top-five NCAA finishes in her three years at Minnesota. Lexi Tenenbaum placed fourth at 362.00 and Sarah Bacon sixth at 347.25 to give the Gophers three All-Americans in the event.

Albert Lea, Minn., native Horejsi was the runner-up in the 100 breaststroke, finishing in 58.03 to breaking former Olympian Jillian Tyler's Minnesota record in 58.03. Horejsi, who finished behind only Olympic gold medalist Lilly King, turned in the eighth-fastest time on record. Kierra Smith placed 12th in a personal-record 58.91 and will go into tomorrow's 200 breast as the No. 2 seed.

The Gophers earned their third relay All-America Honorable Mention honor of the meet. Tevyn Waddell, Lindsey Horejsi, Danielle Nack and Zoe Avetsruz placed 11th in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:36.12.

Minnesota had four additional individual prelims swims. Danielle Nack notched a personal record of 52.51 in the 100 butterfly, finishing 29th. Brooke Zeiger was 31st in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:11.99. Waddell placed 32nd in the 100 backstroke, swimming a 52.74 in her first individual NCAA Championships event. Chantal Nack set a PR of 1:46.28 in the 200 freestyle to place 36th.

The fourth and final day of NCAA Championships competition will start Saturday at 9 a.m. CT. Events left to be contested are the 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, 1,650 freestyle, platform diving and 400 freestyle relay.
