Gophers Remain Eighth After Second Round

MESA, Ariz. - The Minnesota women's golf team maintained its hold on eighth place following the second round of the Clover Cup at the Longbow Golf Club on Saturday.
The Gophers (300-294-594) shot six under the previous day's score, led by junior Heather Ciskowski (73-73-146), who is tied for 24th.
Senior Emie Peronnin (74-74-148) is hitting four-over-par for the Gophers, tied for 31st. Junior Sabrine Garrison (75-74-149) follows close behind, tied for 34th hitting five-over-par.
Rounding out the competition for Minnesota, sophomores Muyu Wu (81-73-154) and Maggie Heggerston (78-78-156) sit tied for 60th and 65, respectively.
Arizona State University (281-275-556) moved into the lead, hitting 20-under-par. Julienne Soo (66-66-132) of Oklahoma held onto the top spot, hitting twelve-under-par.
