Take a look back at highlights from the 2017 season.
3: Bailey Abernathy, Bailie Holst and Kaitlin Rahon transitioned from seniors to graduates this year. Minnesota will welcome another three gymnasts--Ona Loper, Lexi Montgomery and Lexy Ramler--to campus this fall.
4: For the first time in four years, the Gophers had a new Most Valuable Performer. Ciara Gardner earned the honor after hitting 45 of 47 routines throughout the season. Lindsay Mable won the award the previous four seasons.
5: Minnesota earned five Big Ten Conference weekly honors. Abernathy was named Big Ten Event Specialist of the Week three times, Paige Williams earned a Big Ten Freshman of the Week award and Holst was selected as the Big Ten Co-Gymnast of the Week following the regular season finale.
6: The Gophers earned another six awards from the Big Ten Conference. Holst was named to the All-Big Ten First Team, while Abernathy and Gardner were selected for the All-Big Ten Second Team. Gardner, Hannah Hitchcock and Williams were also named to the All-Big Ten Championships Team.
7: Seven gymnasts earned Academic All-Big Ten honors for being a letterwinner, having a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and in at least the second season.
9: The Gophers were a young team with nine newcomers and nine returners.
9.950: On senior night, Abernathy recorded a 9.950 on floor -- a score that is tied for second in program history.
10: Minnesota tallied 10 wins during the regular season, marking a winning record for seventh-straight year and 27th all-time.
11: Minnesota had 11 brand new routines in lineups at this year's Big Ten Championships with nearly half from first time competitors.
13: Thirteen Gopher gymnasts were named letterwinners during the 2017 season. Seven gymnasts were named letterwinners for the first time, including Rachel Cutler, Julia Huebert, Ivy Lu, Kristen Quaglia, Rachel Rowland, Selena Ung and Williams.
17: Number of routines that scored a 9.900 or above. Abernathy led the way with five routines that scored above that mark, including four on floor.
18: The roster boasted 18 gymnasts and marked the largest team in program history.
22: The Gophers qualified for NCAA Regionals for the 22nd-straight year.
27: Twenty-seven personal records were set during the 2017 season.
32: Seven Minnesota gymnasts won 32 event titles throughout the season.
49.450: Minnesota scored a 49.450 on floor against Ohio State, which included all three seniors scoring a 9.900 or higher. The event score is tied for fifth in program history.
75: Freshmen Huebert, Lu, Quaglia and Williams combined for 75 routines throughout the season.
128: Number of Minnesota routines that scored a 9.800 or above.
196.800: The Gophers earned a big win over Ohio State with a final score of 196.800-196.450. The score was the team's highest of the season and included 49+ scores on all four events. n all four events.
