Doeden Selected to NCAA Stanford Regional

Gophers senior Justin Doeden will continue his season at the NCAA Stanford Regional. The tournament runs May 15-17. The top individual will qualify for the NCAA Championships.
Doeden has a scoring average of 71.87 this year, ranking fourth in program history for a single season. He led Minnesota with a 22nd-place finish at last weekend's Big Ten Championships.
In his two years with the Golden Gophers, Doeden has been the team's top finisher in eight tournaments. The Prior Lake, Minn., native will make his first NCAA appearance.
With Doeden's selection to the Stanford Regional, the Gophers have had at least one player in NCAA Regionals for 25 of the past 26 years.
