Flanagan to Represent Team England
Incoming University of Minnesota freshman Angus Flanagan has earned a spot on England's team for the European Boys' Team Championships (Jean-Louis Dupont Trophy). He is one of six team members who will compete at Spain's La Manga Club from July 11-15.
Gophers Qualify for MGA Amateur
Junior Peter Jones captured medalist honors at the MGA's Pioneer Creek qualifier. He won by two strokes with a 4-under 68. Recent graduate Matt Rachey tied for seventh with a 72 at the same qualifier, also earning a spot for the July 17-19 tournament at Interlachen. Fellow 2017 graduate Grady Meyer tied for 11th at Columbia Golf Club to qualify.
Golf Outing Coming Up
Gopher men's golf and women's hockey's annual combined golf outing is set for July 24 at North Oaks Golf Club. For information and registration, please visit the Golden Gopher Fund website and go to the "Events" tab to select this event.
