MINNEAPOLIS (GopherSports.com) -- With Gopher Hockey's exhibition game set for Oct. 1, we're counting down to the 2017-18 opener by looking back at some of the top moments from last year's campaign.

Number 10: Norman's Double-Deflection Goal
As a sophomore in 2016-17, Ryan Norman tallied a career-high seven points and five goals -- none more impressive than his mid-air swipe to score in Minnesota's 3-2 win over Wisconsin on Feb. 25. Norman's double-deflection goal gave the Maroon & Gold a two-goal lead while Justin Kloos would later finish off the Border Battle contest with the game-winning goal for the Gophers.
