Freshman Lexy Ramler led the Gopher women's gymnastics team in the annual intrasquad competition Saturday evening earning the top score on all four events. The Gophers posted a team score of 192.900.
"I was really pleased," head coach Jenny Hansen said. "We had a really high hit percentage tonight. I thought the energy was really good. We have some kids that are still coming back from injuries but overall I was really pleased with the night."
Ramler finished with an all-around score of 39.225, which averages 9.806 per event.
"I was not expecting that. I was just expecting to go out and learn," Ramler, St. Michael, Minn native, said. "I have been going to these meets my entire life so to actually be on the floor now was so much fun."
Sophomore Casey Betts followed in the all-around competition with a second-place score of 37.475.

To begin the meet Ramler edged out the victory with a 9.725 on vault. Fellow freshman Ona Loper came in second with a 9.700 and Hannah Hitchcock came in third with a 9.625.
