GOPHERS BACK AT HOME
The University of Minnesota returns to Maturi Pavilion confines Saturday when it hosts Michigan State at 7 p.m. It marks the first of a three-match home swing for the Gophers.Ā

ON THE DOCKETĀ Ā  Ā 
The Gophers will also host Indiana and No. 13 Purdue, Nov. 9-10. The Indiana/Purdue weekend marks the end of the regular home season. Minnesota will honor its seniors on Friday against the Hoosiers.Ā 

GOPHERS' LAST ACTION
Minnesota earned a 3-1 road win over the No. 5 Wisconsin Badgers, Wednesday, in Madison, Wis. Adanna Rollins led the team with 17 kills when she hit .395 and had a team-high 38 attempts. She also completed the double-double with 13 digs. Taylor Morgan added 15 kills and hit .385. Stephanie Samedy added a double-double with 12 kills and 15 digs, while Alexis Hart had 12 kills. Samantha Seliger-Swenson added a season-high 56 assists and had six digs and an ace. Both Morgan and Regan Pittman had three blocks. The back row duo of Lauren Barnes and CC McGraw each had 16 digs.Ā 

GOPHER STATS IN BIG TENĀ Ā  Ā 
Since the start of the Big Ten season, Minnesota has held its conference opponents to hitting below .200 in nine of 13 matches. In fact, the Gophers have held their opponents to below a .200 hitting clip in 15 of 21 matches this season.Ā 

ABOUT MICHIGAN STATEĀ Ā  Ā 
Like Minnesota, Michigan State played Wednesday night and fell to No. 13 Purdue in a four-set decision. The Spartans enter the Minnesota match with a 15-11 overall record and 3-10 in the Big Ten. As a team, the Spartans average 11.77 digs per set, 12.10 kills per set, 2.63 blocks per set and are hitting .207. Alyssa Chronowski has a team-high 297 kills and averages 3.26 per set. She is followed by Naya Gros (188) and Maddie Haggerty (151). Gros is sixth in the conference with a team-best 106 total blocks and averages 1.18 per set. Elena Shklyar averages 8.44 assists per set and Jamye Cox averages 3.89 digs per set.Ā 

ALL-TIME SERIES
Minnesota is 53-19 all-time against Michigan State, dating back to 1976. The Gophers played MSU just last week when Minnesota earned a 3-0 win over the Spartans on Oct. 26 in East Lansing, Mich.Ā 

NCAA RPIĀ Ā  Ā 
Minnesota is ranked No. 4 in the NCAA's RPI, which is updated each Monday throughout the remainder of the season. Stanford holds the No. 1 spot, followed by Illinois, BYU and Minnesota. In all, seven Big Ten teams are within the top 16 RPI.Ā 

OFFENSIVE BALANCEĀ Ā  Ā 
Minnesota has had an even offensive balance this season as five players have triple-digit kills this year. Stephanie Samedy leads the team with 233 kills, followed by Alexis Hart (183), Adanna Rollins (177 kills), Taylor Morgan (173) and Regan Pittman (168). All five are also hitting above .250, while all five have taken over 300 attempts.Ā
