Sophomore Lexy Ramler led the University of Minnesota women's gymnastics team in the annual intrasquad meet Monday evening earning the top score on three of the four apparatuses. The Gophers posted a team score of 194.050 for the day

"It was a great event," head coach Jenny Hansen said. "I was really proud of the team. I think they keep getting better in different ways. We're learning a lot as we go, and hopefully we are taking those improvements and will apply them to our next meet. I feel really good about where we are at right now and where we are going."

Ramler finished with an all-around score of 39.200, which averages 9.800 per event.

"It was great to get out there and get the jitters and nerves out," said Lexy Ramler. "I'm here to do the best for my team, so for me to be able to do that out there felt awesome."

Sophomore Ona Loper followed in the all-around competition with a second-place score of 37.875.
