Gophers Celebrate Team Award Winners

Minnesota held its annual end of the year banquet at TCF Bank Stadium over the weekend.
MINNEAPOLIS - The Golden Gophers celebrated the 2018 women's cross country season with their annual team banquet at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday. Minnesota handed out its end-of-season awards along with honoring its team captains and letterwinners.
The Gophers honored 2018 team captains Molly Eastman, Abby Lange, Patty O'Brien, Paige Peschel, Elyse Prescott, and Kelsey Sather for their leadership throughout the season.
Eastman and O'Brien led the Gophers as four-year letterwinners while Bethany Hasz, Megan Hasz, and Prescott received their third letter awards. Abby Kohut-Jackson and Zetta Mason earned their second letter awards, and first-time letterwinners Carissa Dock, Olivia Hummel, Anastasia Korzenowski, Abby Lange, Paige Peschel, Haley Rasmussen, Ally Smith, Tate Sweeney, and Jaycie Thomsen received their University of Minnesota letter jackets as well.
