Rosters Announced For Maroon And Gold Teams

The University of Minnesota football team will play its annual spring game at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 12 at TCF Bank Stadium. Offensive coordinator Kirk Ciarrocca will coach Team Maroon, while defensive coordinator Robb Smith will coach Team Gold. Linebacker Thomas Barber will captain Maroon and Rodney Smith will captain the Gold.
The game, which will use traditional scoring, is scheduled to be played with four 15-minute quarters. A running clock will be used and there will be a 12-minute halftime.
Coaches and team captains drafted their teams and in addition to bragging rights a shiny trophy is on the line as well.
