Head coach Jenny Hansen announced roster additions and changes for the 2018-19 season with the full Gophers squad back on campus.
Minnesota has added Hannah Willmarth who spent her first collegiate season with the University of Washington and officially welcome Andrea Stancik who was with the team over the summer.
"We are thrilled to welcome Hannah and Andrea to our program," Hansen said. "Both are a great fit with our culture and the program we are building here at Minnesota. They are determined to make an impact and we believe they will make a difference in our lineups this season."
Willmarth is a native of Boulder, Colo. and competed for Airborne Gymnastics in her club career. She took four top-three finishes at the 2016 Colorado State Championships and finished top-15 on bars at the 2016 JO Nationals. She competed exhibition on bars for Washington including at the Utah Huntsman Center where she stuck a dismount in front of over 14,000 fans.
Stancik brings the Gophers freshmen class to six. She is a native of West Chicago, Ill. and competed for Bartlett Gymnastics. She was an Illinois Scholar-Athlete and has a career high of 9.300 on vault.

It's safe to say that transfer @hannahwillmarth has wasted no time making an impression on her teammates! She dominated the rope climb during last week's testing. #Gophers #SkiUMah #LoveTheBattle pic.twitter.com/DdKg4nFoS1
