• Senior forward Jordan Murphy is second in Big Ten play in rebounding, pulling down 10.7 boards per game, and leads in overall rebounding with 12.0 rebounds per game on the season, fourth in the nation. His 1,150 career rebounds ranks second in Big Ten Conference history, after passing Joe Barry Carroll for second place on Sunday. Murphy became the 10th player in Big Ten history with 1,500+ points and 1,000+ career rebounds. Additionally, Murphy broke Jim Brewer's 45-year old school record for career double-doubles, and now has 58. Murphy was named the Big Ten Co-Player of the Week on Monday.
• Senior guard Dupree McBrayer now ranks 12th all-time at Minnesota in career assists (286), and 14th with 112 career three‐pointers made. He is 13th in three-pointers attempted (327). McBrayer is just 15 points shy of becoming the 43rd Gopher player to reach the 1,000-point mark in his career.
• Several other Gophers have major career milestones on the horizon. Redshirt senior Brock Stull is just five points away from scoring 1,000 in his career, combined between his time at Milwaukee and Minnesota. Amir Coffey is at 972 career points through 71 games in his junior season.

• Senior forward Jordan Murphy was named the Big Ten Co-Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. The 6-7 native of San Antonio, Texas scored a pair of double-doubles in the Gophers narrow loss at Michigan and 92-87 win over Iowa.
• It is his first weekly award of the season after winning the honor three consecutive weeks to begin the 2017-18 season, and the fifth in his career. Murphy shared the award with Michigan State's Cassius Winston.
• On Tuesday in Ann Arbor, Murphy led the team with 15 points including 5-of-10 shooting and tied a game-high with 11 rebounds, also contributing an assist in 28 minutes of play.
• He followed that up with team highs of 23 points and 11 rebounds in the win over the Hawkeyes, going 7-of-9 from the field and 8-of-11 from the free throw line. Murphy also tied a career high with six assists and blocked two shots on Sunday.
• It was his fourth 20-point game, and he added to his double-double total with 13 on the season.
