‘U’ to Host Gophers Skate the Cities Events in Roseville and St. Louis Park

MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Minnesota men's hockey program will take practice on the road to a pair of Twin Cities communities this month with fans invited to join the Maroon & Gold for Gophers Skate the Cities events in Roseville and St. Louis Park. 

The Gophers will host open practices at the Roseville Skating Center on Monday, Jan. 7 before an outdoor session at the St. Louis Park ROC Ice Arena on Monday, Jan. 14. Both practice sessions will be followed by free open skate and fan experience sessions with the Gophers featuring autographs and pictures. Open skate will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans are encouraged to bring their own skates and reminded that sticks and pucks will not be permitted on the ice during the session.

Minnesota returns to action this weekend with two-game series against Penn State at 3M Arena at Mariucci. Tickets are available at GopherSports.com.
